Capitol Corridor Route Atlas

Numbers 1-16 on the map represent the currently scheduled stops for Amtrak California's Capitol Corridor service between Auburn, California and San Jose, California via Sacramento, Oakland, and the other cities and towns along the way. Not all Capitol Corridor trains stop at all stations and a change of trains is required to travel the entire route. Refer to the latest Amtrak Schedule for the scheduled stops of the train(s) that you are taking.

Using the following links you can either choose to tour the entire route between Auburn and San Jose, or hop on the train at any station along the way and proceed in either direction from there. Click here to start at the beginning or click on one of the stations listed below to start there.

Once on board..... click "next"  (toward San Jose) or "previous" (toward Auburn) to take the virtual rail journey at your leisure.

Each "station stop" includes a photo of the station, a local street map, local transportation options, and links to many more items of local interest.  Between the station pages there are detailed station to station maps and links to all of the counties that you pass through along the way.
