Cardinal Route Added!
The Cardinal Route - Amtrak Trains No. 50 and 51
has now been added to the Rail Passenger USA library. The Cardinal travels between
New York and Chicago via the "Southern Route" through Washington DC; Charlottesville, VA;
the scenic New River Gorge in the Appalachians; Charleston, WV; Cincinnati; and Indianapolis.
You'll get some great mountain scenery through the Appalachians complimented by a deep sense of appreciation of our nation's early history.
Texas Eagle Route Guide Coming Soon
The next Route Guide to be added to the Rail Passenger USA library will be the Texas Eagle Route - Amtrak Trains No. 21 and 22.
A link to the External Links section of the upcoming Texas Eagle Route Guide may be followed by clicking on the icon to the right. The Texas Eagle runs between Chicago and Los Angeles via San Antonio, Texas. If you include the leg between San Antonio and Los Angeles, it is currently Amtrak's longest route traversing over 2700 miles and 41 station stops in 4 days
