Empire Builder Route Added!

The Empire Builder Slide Show has now been added to "Routes Currently Included". The Empire Builder is one of the most popular and scenic routes in the Western USA. Thanks to James Jerome Hill, it was also one of the first transcontinental railroads to reach the Pacific Northwest in January of 1893 as part of Hill's Great Northern Railway system.

Hill was nicknamed "The Empire Builder" and the train that follows this route to the Pacific Northwest is named after him. The Empire Builder cover photograph shows a statue of James J. Hill at the Havre, Montana station.

Thank you for your valuable feedback. We have been making many improvements to this new site based on that feedback. One of the most significant improvements is that the browser limitations have now been eliminated. You should now be able to view the shows on all of the popular web browsers.

Keep the feedback coming and we will keep on improving the site.

Happy rails to you!
